Midland
I'll be way out in Midland, TX early next week for work. This will be the first work related trip I've taken since... geez, the last millenium. I know nothing about Midland, but I'm assuming there's not much going on. Not that it makes much difference, it'll be a short trip. Anyone been there?

Too many times... my best friend lives in Odessa - need someone to entertain you? Also, I hear they are starting a hash out there, so there could be a few hashers!
Be careful. I hear the sheep there are very promiscuous. Wear protection.
Thanks for volunteering your friend :) I'll be staying Sunday night and possibly Monday night and am sharing a ride with a guy from work I don't know very well. So with the short time and unknown workmate and transportation factors I probably won't be doing much while I'm there.
UT - Permian Basin has a replica Stonehenge in Odessa.
Dang, they have an airshow this weekend? Had I known sooner I might've made plans to get out there today, but as it is I'll be arriving just as it's concluding.
I haven't been there, but try to read "Friday Night Lights." It takes place in that area. Great book (lousy movie).
