Liver & Onions
I found myself at a small town family restaurant for lunch last Thursday. My coworker ordered the special, and being one not afraid to try new things to eat, I ordered a plate as well. I am not a fan. Tastes a little funny, and the texture is *really weird*. The onions helped me get most of it down. But now I know: I don't like liver & onions.

Liver ... Yuck! My mother used to make me eat it growing up.
There is only one time to eat liver, ever. If you are stranded on a desert isle and you have already killed and eaten every other part of your former shitmates (in the spirit of speak like a pirate day).
Oh yeah ... except if your ex-shipmate is a DOTA. Not much nutritonal value in scar tissue.
The dogs love liver so much that I give it all to them. Only drawback is it gives them the runs.
I think I will have to skip trying that dish.

Liver is pretty damn good, where is this place? Was it a brown gravy they used. The owner of a restaurant back home used to serve it everytime I came in from college and grad school, that s the only time it would be the daily special, damn now I want some.
